Revision as of 23:55, 30 September 2008
- Wolpertinger's Tankard
- Binds when picked up
- Item Level 20
- Use: Right Click to summon and dismiss your invisible wolpertinger from or to the one-liter ale tankard it lives in.
- Sell Price: 12 50
The Wolpertinger's Tankard item summons and dismisses a Wolpertinger, a wolpertinger small pet that follows you around, meaning it is a non-combat pet and will not aid you in battle.

In 2007, Wolpertinger's Tankard was a quest reward from Catch the Wild Wolpertinger!, part of the Brewfest seasonal event.
In 2008, it was made purchasable by Belbi Quikswitch and Blix Fixwidget for 50, with a reputation discount.
Notes
Living up to its description, this non-combat pet is invisible to other sober players albeit subject to emotes from the owner. However, whether it be a glitch or intended design, other players in your group or raid are able to see this pet at all times.
Pets reveal your stealthed location, but since the Wolpertinger is normally invisible to other players not in your party, this makes the Wolpertinger uniquely useful for PvP; only your party will see where you are (unless an opponent happens to be drunk).
