The Wild Gods are powerful spirits of Azeroth known by many different names depending on which were encountered and by whom. They generally represent the greatest of their form of natural creature. The pandaren call them the August Celestials[citation needed] and the trolls call them Loa.[1]

Many of the avatars of the Loa have humanoid forms with features of the animal they represent.
