Warbringer is a tier 9 talent of the Warrior Protection tree. With it, Ability warrior charge [Charge] , Ability warrior victoryrush [Intervene] and Ability warrior victoryrush [Intercept] can be used in any stance, and at any time in combat, as long as the target is within range of the ability. The talent also allows Intervene to break free of movement-impairing effects, such as stuns and roots. This has led some to call it "25 yard Blinking, Warrior style."[1]

Notes

  • This talent, in combination with other late-game Protection talents, has greatly boosted the viability of Protection Warriors in PvP. The freedom of movement, stun, and rage generation from this talent, in combination with other talent such as Ability thunderbolt [Concussion Blow], Ability warrior shockwave [Shockwave], and Ability warrior disarm [Improved Disarm] can keep a foe incapacitated long enough to kill him outright or until a DPS class can help you finish him off.

Patch changes

  • Wrath-Logo-Small Patch 3.3.2 (2010-02-01): This talent no longer allows Charge and Intercept to break roots or snares. Intervene remains unaffected.
