	Shield Block; Warrior ability; 10 Rage; 1 min cooldown; Instant; Requires Shields; Requires Defensive Stance; Increases your chance to block by 25% for 10 sec. In addition, if your total chance to block or avoid an attack exceeds 100%, your chance to critically block is increased by the excess.;

Shield Block is a defensive warrior ability that allows him to dramatically increase the chance to block and dramaticaly increase the block value of his shield. It can only be used when the warrior is in [Defensive Stance] and has equipped a shield.

It is learned at level 28 for 20.

Talent improvements

[Shield Mastery]: Reduces the cooldown of Shield Block ability by 10/20 sec. (for 1/2 points).

Notes

This ability does not have a global cooldown.

Patch changes

Template:Patched
Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): now only increases block chance by 25%, but excess block that pushes avoidance plus block to over 100% is now converted to critical block chance.
