Welcome Edit

Welcome to WoWWiki! Hope you can help the community and vice versa :-)
If you have any questions, someone will gladly answer them, or you could drop them at the reference desk.
We just wanted to say welcome, and to encourage you to contribute! --Fandyllic (talk)

Want to help? Join a team! Edit

As a community it is easier to get large amounts of maintenance and community projects done in teams - we like to recruit each new wiki-user (also known as WoWWikians) to join one or two. Check out Community teams for more info! --Fandyllic (talk)

Want to participate? Vote! Edit

WoWWiki isn't an absolute democracy, but many decisions are voted on. Also, we encourage members to vote on site policies. See a list of votes in progress or a list of policy proposals. --Fandyllic (talk) 11:04 AM PDT 2 Jun 2006

Nice Updates Edit

Not stepping on any toes, nice to see someone adding to it :) --GRYPHONtc 02:16, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Great job on the Geheim article. It is exactly what I had hoped to see when setting up the crafting pages. --GRYPHONtc 19:19, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

your guild page Edit

He deleted it because it was a broken page, due to the somewhat-recent implementation of true namespaces for Server and Guild. It should be restorable now... --Sky (talk | con | wh) 05:52, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't have admin powers, if you could restore the page I'd be much obliged. ZZqA 06:28, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Neither do I xD. Just getting you a response; I'm sure kd3 will take care of it when he wakes up. --Sky (talk | con | wh) 07:01, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Unfortunately, you tried to move Guild:ZZq (Mal'Ganis US) to Guild:zZq (Mal'Ganis US). Those (up until very recently) were the same page according to the software we're running. The only page I see in the restore log is the redirect. "#REDIRECT [[Guild:zZq (Mal'Ganis US)]]". I'll gladly restore that if you want, but you'll have to recreate the page on your own from the google cache. --User:Kaydeethree/Sig 20:28, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Can't you restore the page and all of the history? Or did that get nuked from orbit when you deleted the page? The Google cache version is a bit old, I know I added a section about mergers and updated our progression since the version that is stored in Google's cache. ZZqA 21:13, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Nope, it got nuked from orbit when you moved the page as far as I can tell. The only thing I see in the history was the redirect page (quoted above) that got automatically created when you moved the article. Both the zZq and ZZq links above point to ZZq. --User:Kaydeethree/Sig 21:15, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Wait a minute, I moved the page on 07:16, 20 April 2007. My edit log shows that I made a dozen or so edits between that date and when it got nuked. At any rate, I found a newer copy of the page in my change log, so this is all moot. I'll recreate the page from this. Please be more careful with that delete function in the future please. ZZqA 21:24, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Then that's probably fallout from the Guild: namespace implementation. Again, the page was broken when I deleted it (as it just redirected to itself). Good to see that you found a copy that you can use to recover from. Please be careful in moving pages. --User:Kaydeethree/Sig 21:27, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Not to push the point, but it was working fine from April until these recent changes to the Guild: namespace, I'd venture that it was a fairly successful move. ZZqA 21:29, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
