Ok, thanks for letting me know. --TM41 14:34, 4 November 2006 (EST)

Um that quote has nothing to do with Uther, its just a list of high elven last names given in the RPG. Any similarities between the name is pure coincidence.Baggins 06:12, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

It's not a quote, it is Uther's last name. Please show me where it says otherwise. --TM41 06:18, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Its a quote directly from World of Warcraft The Roleplaying Game, in its' article about high elves. That article lists those elven names, and has nothing to do with Uther's "title". Yes, "Lightbringer" is not Uther's last name its his title, he is more properly referred to as "the Lightbringer". Would you like me to post a scan from the book proving its not about Uther, but only about high elven names? I'd rather not if I don't have to, I don't want to make you look silly, by proving you have taken the whole section out of context, and are attacking what is only a coincidence.Baggins 06:12, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm not "attacking" anything, Baggins. Whether "Lightbringer" is his last name or title is disputed and isn't confirmed by anyone from Blizzard. There is no need to get so worked up over it, I simply thought the list was just made up of common examples of high elven sounding names. I haven't read the book so please refrain from such sarcastic comments. I just found it hard to believe because it would be like having "Hellscream" as a common goblin last name.

Edit: I've just looked over Uther's page and evidently someone just recently added a bit about it being his title. --TM41 06:38, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I'd humbly suggest that if it's in World of Warcraft The Roleplaying Game, it *has* been confirmed by someone from Blizzard. Normal 06:36, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Odd, I don't see any recent edits that indicate that it the title bit was recently added. /shrug Normal 06:40, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
"Lightbringer" or "the Lightbringer" is his title according to Tides of Darkness (actually it goes back to the RPG, and World of Warcraft even). We are currently discussing two seperate topics. Lightbringer the elven name, and Lightbringer the title. The fact that they are similar is just a coincidence, they have nothing to do with each other.--Baggins 06:44, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Normal, I was referring to where it says "He was named "Lightbringer" by Turalyon, a brother paladin and the lieutenant of Anduin Lothar, after the battle of Blackrock Spire." on the page. I guess it was added somewhat recently, as I haven't looked at the page other then today for a while. Please try to be less aggresive to people who haven't read the book, Baggins.TM41 06:46, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Meh, all I did was look over the past few edits going back a month. Didn't see anything that remotely resembled what you suggested. No aggression at all, merely simple statement of a semi-professional, occasional sub-editor. That's the second time you've called people aggressive for, as far as I can see, no reason at all. Maybe if you see a post, and think it's aggressive, you should try re-reading it as a non-aggressive post and if it still makes sense, just assume it wasn't aggressive. Normal 07:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
The only reason I called Baggins aggresive is because it sounded (to me, atleast) like he was trying to be a bit rude about the whole thing. He cleared it up though and I now understand that he clearly wasn't. I'm not mad at anyone, it's just a bunch of misunderstandings on my part. Can we just leave it at that, guys? :P TM41 07:08, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually, I thought I was being silly about the issue, rather than truly aggressive. You were the one that stated, "Its not a quote", and essentially said "prove it" at first, even though the bit was cited, that could be taken as being "aggressive".Baggins 06:48, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
In any case, I wasn't trying to be aggresive. I thought the information was incorrect but now realize it's not. TM41 06:51, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Thas'ranen and LordensonEdit

Ahh are they actually seen in game, and shown to still be in command?Baggins 22:55, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Hmm.. I just checked Nethergarde and saw neither there. I searched wowhead and it brought up no results.. I'm just going by what the page (Nethergarde Keep) already said and elaborating a bit. --TM41 22:58, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Hmm I'd suggest putting it in past tense, and adding an explanation somwhere outside the citations, mentioning they don't appear or seem to be in charge at this point.Baggins 23:04, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
They are not there.--SWM2448 23:05, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Okay. Either of you want to do it or should I?--TM41 23:08, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I got the impression that Watcher Mahar Ba is probably the guy in charge at the time the game takes place. Unless of course Thas'ranen and Lordenson are still around and just too busy to make appearances, and have him stand in for them, :p.
Ahh well I'd do it but i'm kind of writing a paper at the moment.Baggins 23:10, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Alright, I changed it.--TM41 00:05, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Demographic infoEdit

The demographic information found in the infoboxes or at the start of articles originates from RPG information, do not try to altar it. A good example for why not to altar it was your changes to Westfall. You totally missed the context when you changed it. According to lore the majority of the population is Defias Brotherhood, and they rule the region. They are ruled by VanCleef. Because according to lore its not held by the Alliance forces, it is an "independent". Any one else like those at sentinel hill are resistance but do not rule the region.

It hasn't yet been taken back by the Alliance as of yet in the lore. The infobox demographic material will only be changed as new updated demographic information is given in future published sources. Due to scale and gameplay issues, World of Warcraft game is not a reliable source for demographic information.Baggins 19:10, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Whatever. --TM41 22:01, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
