LocationNorthern Bladescar Highlands

Maulgruul is the capital city of the Ogres. Found at the northern edge of Bladescar Highlands, the imposing city is home to Warlord Ro'gash. As with all capital cities, it has banks, class and profession trainers and auction houses. It is known to be much larger than Orgrimmar.

Second WarEdit

At an unknown time of the Second War, Maulgruul was constructed by thousands of Ogres of the Bladescar clan and their leader Ro'gash, Warlord and Champion of all Ogres.

Return of the ZandalariEdit

The city of Maulgruul was soon discovered by Thrall and his expedition. The Bladescar ogres gave a warm welcome to the outsiders and showed them their home and resources that they kept for many years. After Thrall consulted with the Warlord of Maulgruul, the ogres were welcomed by the Horde.

Invaders of ZandalarEdit

In the World of Warcraft: Invaders of Zandalar, Maulgruul is openly hospitable to all members of the Horde and is an important center of commerce. Visitors may fly into the city by way of zeppelin or wyvern, or simply walk through the fortress’s main gates. Today, the city lies at the base of a mountain.

Like Orgrimmar, the Horde helped the Ogres making the city more wracked by the fierce "razor-winds", powerful enough to tear off the roofs of improperly constructed buildings.

The city is divided into natural districts of northern Bladescar Highlands. The central valley is usually considered the economic heart of the region. This area is teeming with all sorts of activity, due to the proximity of both the auction house, bank, city inn and flight master.
