The Girallons are a race of intelligent gorilla-like humanoids that were once natives in the world of Azeroth until they were all brought inside the Emerald Dream before the Great Sundering.

Early HistoryEdit

During the War of the Ancients, the Girallons lived peacefully until their civilization was about to fall. At an unknown time before the Great Sundering, the Girallons were somehow transported to the Emerald Dream to be protected. Settling in Emerald Paradise, the Girallons experienced visions that they would one day come back to the physical world of Azeroth.

Emerald DreamEdit

The Girallons make their first appearance in the World of Warcraft: Emerald Dream. Living in the Silverline Village, the Girallons are first encountered by Hamuul Runetotem and Horde adventurers. After gaining their trust, the Girallons were all given access through a portal which took them straight into Durotar. Once there, they were all given an honorable welcome by Vol'jin, Warchief of the Horde. Equipped with machine guns, armor, and weapons from the Horde, the Girallons were trained and recruited to serve in the Horde's ranks while those serve as guards in Orgrimmar and other places that are Horde territories.

After joining the Horde, a group of Girallon practitioners have found a way to transform Gorillas into their own kind. Muumok, the head leader of the group, would task adventurers in bringing many gorillas in order to increase the Girallon population and serve in the ranks of the Horde.

Girallons are described to be similiar to a gorilla and are known to be more intelligent. They are eight feet tall and covered in either white, gray, or black fur. Their language is common.
