Skreeran VII, born fourteen years before the first war, decided to become a mage, after the First war took place. After five years of training in Dalaran, he traveled to abroad, and met a priestess, Yaela Burgruhn, whom he fell in love with and eventually married. His first son was born one year before the Second war. He went on to fight in the Second far, a young and talented mage, carving a swath through the Horde forces. After the Second war, he traveled back to Yaela and had two more children, Serian and Skriral.
Fourteen years later, he and his son went to fight in the Third war, and together they cut through the Scourge, until Skreeran VII fell to a lich, and his body was badly mangled, causing among other things, the loss of his lower jaw. His brother Skrahn (also a mage) was soon also overtaken by the Scourge. Fortunately, they were not slaves to the Lich king for long, and were freed with Sylvanas (more correctly, Skrahn was freed by Sylvanas, Skreeran VII broke away of his own will). Yaela was somehow totally immune to the plague, and currently lives in Stormwind, her gift being unknwon to all but her closest friends.
Skreeran VII now lives in Undercity near Skrahn (now a Warlock), and is one of the most powerful mages among the Forsaken.
