Talon Gate is the west gate into Orgrimmar.
During the Darkspear Rebellion, the Kor'kron guarded the gate. Thrall and Varok Saurfang passed through the gate, stopped by the guards but allowed to enter by Nazgrim.[1]

- The gate used to be often exploited by raid groups of the opposite faction as a weak spot in Orgrimmar's complex infrastructure. By avoiding the Valley of Strength, where most members of the Horde linger, the Alliance raid groups were easily able to reach Thrall without as many casualties as they would have if they were bold enough to attack the front gates of the city. This tactic is obviously not utilized anymore as raid groups can simply fly directly into the city to defeat Varok.
