Vasilli's Greek too, quite possibly older then the Russian version.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 23:44, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Why would a crypt fiend be named William? Recruit makes more sense, as he is a soldier for the Sourge. On the other hand, that translation may be what Blizz was thinking. I am not them, so I do not know. Is this post just because you think Greece is awesome? Conflicting national prides have no place on this wiki. Also, there was debate that while Singe ment monkey in French, is also ment burning (which made more sense). Horses and Zebras.--SWM2448 21:31, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Point of note, both translations are suspect[[1]]. Vasili is a variation of "Basil", and basil means "king", or "royal". About as far from "recruit", and "William" as you can get.Baggins (talk) 01:29, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Not really, I call all my relatives who are named "Vasilli" and "Vasiliki" William and Bessie.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 20:48, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

And why would adding information being considered being bias, Sandwichman?  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 20:55, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

It stems from paranoia that Teabag will return. He was full of fake national pride that he tried to weasel in everywhere. Your edit was not bad, but I was worried that road might be taken again.--SWM2448 21:05, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok but then shouldn't we add something about wht it means in either one of those baltic countries?  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 21:11, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

If it is correct.--SWM2448 21:15, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Then may I add Basil? William is the "anglicized" version of Vasili. I asked my mom, I wrong on that one, sorry.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 21:21, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
