Murmur[]

Someone mentioned that the odd sound problems experienced with the rediscovery of the Scythe might have something to do with Murmur. I removed it from the article since there's no information to back this up, but it's an interesting thought, so I put it here. User:Montag/sig 19:13, 25 January 2007 (EST)

Grizzly Hills[]

While doing the Beta a little while back, I noticed something odd about a beginning quest for the alliance in the Grizzly Hills, here's a link. Close The Deal, does the completion sound odd to anyone else.Mack Attack (talk) 17:28, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Scythe's Origin or Powers?[]

The Scythe's Origin section seems misleading, all it is just a discription of what the Scythe did to the reality around it. Could someone tell me how that give us an origen for it? --Morec of Rivendare (talk) 02:17, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

There is no "Origin" section... IconSmall WolvarBig, furry, and insane (Have a conversation with the homocidal furry!) (Come and stalk me! ...No, wait, please don't.) 02:20, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Btw, if you actually bothered to READ the article, you'd notice it DOES detail the origin.

"Velinde Starsong was granted it from Elune (or maybe she only thought that it was a gift of Elune...), to fight against the demons in Felwood and Ashenvale."

If that isn't explaining the origin, I'm not sure what is. IconSmall WolvarBig, furry, and insane (Have a conversation with the homocidal furry!) (Come and stalk me! ...No, wait, please don't.) 02:23, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

At the bottom, I ment, it said speculation about the origen of the Scythe. --Morec of Rivendare (talk) 02:31, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Well that there's talking about the Scythe possibly coming from the worgen homeworld. IconSmall WolvarBig, furry, and insane (Have a conversation with the homocidal furry!) (Come and stalk me! ...No, wait, please don't.) 02:32, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Split[]

I agree, the article should be split, like Doomhammer / Inv mace 1h doomhammer [Doomhammer] and Ashbringer / Inv sword 2h artifactashbringer d 01 [Ashbringer]. We should do that for all the artifacts. Specially since they'll be irrelevant (and their stats too)) as soon as next expansion hits, while the same thing can't be said about the lore. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 23:47, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Maybe for artifacts that have existed for a long time, I don't think we need to split lore/items for artifacts that were created just for the Legion expansion though. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 21:53, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
I agree with Coobra on this. PeterWind (talk) 00:33, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
But the Scythe of Elune was created for vanilla? Xporc (talk) 07:32, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
I'm inclined to agree that the Scythe should be split. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:56, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
^^ (would be consistent with Doomhammer + Inv mace 1h doomhammer [Doomhammer] and Ashbringer + Inv sword 2h artifactashbringer d 01 [Ashbringer] which have rich lore. Th other artifacts were created for Legion. All except for Inv sword 1h artifactfelomelorn d 01 [Felo'melorn], so maaaybe split that too?) --Mordecay (talk) 12:19, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Felo'melorn I'm less eager to split, since it had very little pre-Legion lore to it. Prior to Legion, the entire page was just two short paragraphs of history and a small RPG section. Doomhammer, Ashbringer, and the Scythe of Elune, on the other hand, were major artifacts that made multiple appearances and so had a very large amount of content even without the artifact details. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:43, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
I'm in favor of the split, among other things so that passages in lore articles such as "Velinde Starsong summoned worgen with the Scythe of Elune" will stop displaying golden links. - Linneris (talk) 08:11, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
I'm neutral on Felo'melorn. Xporc (talk) 08:18, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
