I see no indication that Morrowgrain raises Cenarion Circle faction. I just did a test and received 25 TB faction and no mention of Cenarion faction (although that would make more sense). I'm only friendly with Cenarion, and I don't recall ever seeing it from turning in truckloads of morrowgrain when I was neutral either.

I'm not sure if this changed with a patch, but 'Arrows are for Sissies' does NOT give Ironforge reputation. I'm going to be bold and remove it.

Reputation Clarification | 5/23/2005 11:57:36 AM PDT

source: Blizzard Forum

I realize that many of you may already be aware of the following information I've provided concerning reputation gain, however I have seen some confusion on the subject and wanted to provide some clarification.

Reputation gained from quests is much like how experience is gained from doing a quest. When you complete a quest that offers a reputation reward, you will increase your standing by a set number. Some quests will give more reputation that others; this is usually because the quest is more challenging to complete. If a quest gives reputation to a faction that is part of a group of factions (Alliance, Horde, Steamwheedle Catrel, etc.), then there is a chance that your reputation will also go up some with the other member factions. The amount increased is usually only a portion of what you gained with the main faction involved in the quest, but the amount you gain in this manner never takes away from the total you gained overall.

When a player completes a quest that is much lower in level than they are, they receive only a fraction of the XP they normally would. This same rule applies to reputation gains with a faction. For example, a level 60 Alliance player completing the famous Kobold Camp Cleanup will receive at best 10% of what a level-appropriate character would receive. To receive the full amount of reputation that a quest might give, it is important to remember to be in the level appropriate range.

Increasing one’s reputation with a faction is not a quick process. It takes time to show one’s loyalty earn the faction’s trust. Completing a quest that involves one of WoW’s many factions is a significant step in the right direction – especially if the quest is challenging – but nonetheless just one of many steps you’ll need to take. As a player increases in rank (up toward Exalted status), it’ll take an increasing amount of effort to prove yourself to a faction. Also – players should note that it is intended that there is no real way to gain reputation with the “Big 4? of either side (Alliance, Horde) by killing monsters. Only quests give reputation needed to increase in rank with a faction of the Alliance or Horde.

Why do all the factions say that only "Shadowprey Guardians" are mobs killable to gain reputation? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

Howya!

Is there any way someone could get a message to Coringar for me. I have a lot of information that he'd find very useful for his FAQ, but as I'm on the European severs I'm not able to post to his thread.

My eMail addy is in profile. Cheers!

Links on Repeatable Reputation Quests

At some point I'm going to put Thottbot.com or WoW Allakhazam links on all the repeatable reputation quests... Probably not from Goblin Workshop, since they seem incomplete.

Random praise

Just wanted to say this is a very impressive article :) Barneyboo 15:52, 17 Oct 2005 (EDT)

The Syndicate

I found out some info on the Syndicate faction and tossed it in that section. It may not be as pretty as the rest, but someone might have fun with it. Clean it up or do what ever you want with it. Beautiful piece of work by the way. Keep at it.

Reorganization | 10/25/05

I've taken on the task of overhauling and updating the whole of this article. I hope to put information on all factions into a clean, universal format, as many of them are in a rather messy state. Hopefully, when complete, the article will be much easier to navigate and much more helpful to viewers. Please bear with me as I work to complete this endeavor.

I've got more info that was never posted, if you feel like a collaberation, let me know, E-mail is in profile (if you can find it)
