That's a good theory. Reminds me of Blade Runner, how they speak 'Gutter Talk', a mish mash of German, Spanish, etc.. Okay, you sold me. Makes total sense now. --Anticrash 11:57, 13 Dec 2005 (EST)

To SilverSide : please edit the Troll's langauge name : it's Zandali and not just "Troll". And by the way, please put the name of the language of the High Elves.--Kirochi 06:18, 29 Dec 2005 (EST)

I can't get ingame (this comp won't run it and I currently don't have a WoW-able comp), so can someone check whether it's Dwarven or just Dwarvish? Could've sworn it's Dwarven...

Also, I left Goblinish as Goblinish, even though in the RPG books it's Goblin. And can someone look up Kalimdoran for me? I don't HAVE the RPG books, just random information from them. XD --Kakwakas 22:33, 27 Jan 2006 (EST)

You posted this a long time ago, but its relevant today. It's Dwarven, not "Dwarvish", I've begun to fix this issue in several articles. I have no idea where the idea Dwarvish came from, I overlooked it since I don't usually play a dwarf ingame. I've moved Goblinish to "Goblin (language)", as I can't find refrence to Goblinish anywhere. Kalimdoran is mentioned in WoWRPG, and Alliance & Horde Companion, I'll make sure a citation is put up.Baggins 14:05, 25 December 2006 (EST)

Locked

Why is this page locked? I've got stuff to add.

Same here... If anyone gets to it before I do, the new blood elf language is Sindrassi. -Kakwakas 12:21, 7 Nov 2005 (EST)

Does anyone else find it odd that the Forsaken are unable to speak Common, despite having once been human? I think that, logically, Gutterspeak must be some kind of dialect of Common.. This has always bothered me, and I think there should be some kind of explanation. Any theories?

-Anticrash 12:35, 30 Nov 2005 (EST)

Ok, here's an idea. Since the Forsaken were once linked directly to the mind of the Lich King (aka Ner'zhul, an Orc), his influence must have warped their perception of the language, so now it's a mix of Common and Orcish, maybe even a little Nerubian. It would explain why they're all able to speak Orcish with only a couple years of unlife under their belts.
