Curse of Boundless Agony Edit

How is the curse handled? AFAIK the curse jumps (any distance) when dispelled, the player dies or the curse's duration ends. Is the curse dispelled after a certain time (10-20 seconds) to keep the damage low? -- Kalecgos (Korrigan, EU-Gorgonnash, 12:43 GMT+1, 27.03.2008)

kill time Edit

Not sure the "must be killed at the same time" is correct. You should be able to kill the demon first, then the dragon. Zurgat 12:34, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

It should explain what happens if you kill either one before the other... I'm curious what happens if the dragon dies first. It may take a while before people get to do it enough to figure it out, though --Bobson 17:35, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
If either the demon or the dragon is 'killed' first they are immune until the other one also reaches 0%. You should be ok if they are within 5% of each other. -- Xenic 23:10, 2 April 2008 (EEST)
What if they're not? What if one's at 50% when the other dies? Do the portals stop spawning when the dragon dies (and thus you eventually can't go fight the demon)? --Bobson 15:31, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
As i understand it you have ~30 seconds to kill the other one after one goes to 1% and gets banished. If you don't he will respawn. MatsT 21:40, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

When either Dragon or Demon reaches 10%, the Dragon will enrage, therefore it is ideal that they both be close to 10% at around the same time. If you kill the Dragon too early, no more portals will spawn and there is a chance that too many people will get ported back up before the Demon dies, so ideally you want to kill the Demon before the Dragon but it is not required. This strategy, that is pretty much the one outlines in the strategy section, is flawed in that the portals will spawn something like every 16-24 seconds most of the time. This means that 140 seconds into the fight, the last people in the 4th group will get ported back out, and this is exactly the same time that the first group loses their debuff. When they lose their debuff, enter the portal and get ready inside the main tank will have been more or less alone inside for quite some time. It gets a bit better by the fact that portals sometiems are late, but there is still a period from 120-160 seconds where you only have 2 healers inside, and 2 healers doesn't really have a chance to keep everyone up inside for 40 seconds. This strategy more or less relies on people failing to enter the portals they should and delaying the rotation. It's possible to kill him because of these "failures" and also the fact that it's still more or less a zerg fight, but it's quite a bad strategy to start out with when going for the boss.
