Are those mountains in its canopy? --Super Bhaal 02:06, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

It's a TypoEdit

In the book mentioned, The Art of World of Warcraft (page 120 of the hardcover that came with the WoW Collector's Edition), the title of the page is "Environments * ldrassil, Icecrown, Magic Mountain." The page has three pictures, Teldrassil, Icecrown, and ... a magic mountain. It's important to note that "ldrassil" which is labeled as the first picture, is actually a typo for "Teldrassil." You can tell by looking at the font. The word is LDRASSIL, which starts with a lowercase L and not a capital 'i' as suspected. There is a distinct difference between the lowercase 'L' and the capital 'i' of icecrown.

So this is either a typo that snuck in, or an error from the printers. In other words, it's just missing the "TE" and it starts with a lowercase letter, not a capital as all the rest. So it's not necessarily safe to assume it's either another tree or an early name for Teldrassil, just a defect. Tharion (talk) 23:42, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

What Tharion said is interesting, should this article be comed to "Ldrassil", or would it be better to make a note in Teldrassil saying that it's a typo? (I support the idea that it's a typo and a note should be enough.) Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 21:23, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
