pink floyd[]

what areas can you song Shine On You Crazy Diamond Hellfire ? "The beginning of the Pink Floyd song Shine On You Crazy Diamond is the background music in many areas of Hellfire Peninsul"

..... The background music sounds similar to "Shine On..." but it's not the exact same music. -Gnotlob

I edited the "adjacent zones" window today, someone came and messed them up. Terrokar is west of Hellfire and the Bone Wastes are Southwest. It should be pretty obvious that, based on the Zangarmarsh screenshots, the blueish zone west of Hellfire is NOT Zangarmarsh.--Hhallahh 01:13, 27 August 2006 (EDT)

Article scrolls left and right[]

Something is wrong with the article its width is way off. It shouldn't scroll left and right in order to see the entire article... Someone needs to fix the problem.Baggins 15:19, 23 December 2006 (EST)

The map image floats weren't dropping correctly, should be fixed now. --Zeal (talk - contr - web) 15:22, 23 December 2006 (EST)

Issues with the maps looking ugly on 800x600 is fixed, though it now takes up a lot of vertical space. Cuddlebug 15:20, 7 February 2007 (EST)

World PVP Details[]

I added to the World PVP section with more details on how to earn marks with the repeatable quest and player kills. I also added mention that the marks can be redeemable with the Zangarmarsh scout for each faction (in addition to the NPC's in each central town in Hellfire Peninsula.) I made mention of and link to the PVP quest B [10-30P] Hellfire Fortifications, which does not have a page on wowwwiki.com yet. I'll work on that next. CCMCornell 13:15, 1 February 2007 (EST)

Faulty Information[]

On the end of the page it says the following:

Hellfire Peninsula is the only way to get into Outland for the first time so it will be the first zone everyone experiences going into the 60+ content of the Burning Crusade expansion.

This information is obviously incorrect. So I'm suggesting it either gets removed or reworded for more accuracy. --Sern 05:59, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

Accessing the Dark Portal to Hellfire Peninsula is the only way to reach Outland for the first time; thus, it is the first zone one experiences as one takes part of the 60+ content of the Burning Crusade.
Better?

--  Shandris  talk / contribs 09:30, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

No, not better. As far as I know, going through the Dark Portal is not the only way to go to Outland for the first time. You can be summoned by a warlock to any place in Outland or pass through a mage's portal to Shattrath.

Additionally, why are the Mag'har listed among wild creatures in Hellfire? Do you know that these Mag'har NPCs are aligned with the Horde? By that logic I can add "humans" to the list of wild creatures in Durotar.

PRH 18:34, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

Shrug. The Alliance get quests to go and kill the mag'har. I think 'Wild Creatures' is a bit of a miswording, since the section often shows enemy humanoids, not just animals etc. Adding 'humans' to Draenor wouldn't be wrong, imo. ---- Varghedin Varghedin  talk / contribs 07:32, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

removal of Notes[]

With weapons no longer requiring skill-ups, the reference to Hellfire penninsula being a useful place to do this is no longer pertinent and should be removed? Wappas (talk) 15:52, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
