Removed sentencesEdit

I've removed the following sentences temporarily, as they were making the article contradictory:

The gnomes have not had a proper king or queen for over four hundred years. Instead, they prefer to elect their highest officials for set terms of service.
I'm sure that description of high tinker has a source somewhere, and can be restored with citation, with a note that the in-game NPC's title contradicts the notion that a high tinker is distinct from a king.--Aeleas 20:58, 4 January 2007 (EST)

Gnomes are democratic, but this guy is labeled "King of Gnomes", so Blizzard is self contradictory. --Voidvector 22:12, 4 January 2007 (EST)
It may be he has all the powers of a king for a limited term.--SWM2448 18:33, 5 May 2007 (EDT)

The info about not having kings in 400 years, comes from World of Warcraft manual, Alliance Player's Guide, and most recent source, Monster Guide.Baggins 18:43, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Bomb? Edit

I have never heard of a BOMB. this information is badly cited, there is no page number and I do not remember reading this. The gnome intro speech states that they opened the valves on their grinding (refering to the gears) machenes and bathed their city in radiation. Gnomeregan is steam powered and atomic power plants generate power through steam enginges with radiation as the furnace. It was the radiation from their atomic steam reactor, right?--SWM2448 18:31, 5 May 2007 (EDT)

The "Radiation Bomb" is new info from Alliance Player's Guide, and Monster Guide. The info is valid.Baggins 19:57, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
As you say sir, I am sorry for my error. --SWM2448 19:58, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
As for the citations, the ?# is valid, it just means someone has to go look up the page numbers later. Which will probably be me once I get back from my vacation :p...Baggins 20:00, 5 May 2007 (EDT)

If the intro says something else, then probably both things should be mentioned in the article. :) Kirkburn talk contr 20:04, 5 May 2007 (EDT)

I just listened to the Intro again, it doesn't mention anything about radiation, instead it mentions dwarves helping them fight the battle to save the city, but they still lost.Baggins 23:23, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

Ok, I looked into it, the manual for WoW discusses valves on machines being opened in order to allow toxic radiation to spread around the city (although it was not clear on the exact source of the radation). Turns out this was after the radiation bomb (atomic bombs oh my) had been detonated. The bomb released the radation, but the valves on machines, and atmospheric vents had to be opened in order to help spread the radiation around the facilities, and the entire city.Baggins 18:18, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Oh. That makes scence too.--SWM2448 18:19, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Class? Edit

He may be a tinker, but does that make him a warrior? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pittimp (talkcontr). 21:40, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Tinkers might be able to use shields but this is only speculation. -- User:Whitedragon254

He is a skilled combatant, however his weapons are mechanized. His class is techinally a tinker-warrior, yes. :) Scraulle (talk) 08:55, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Please stop moving this article! Edit

The in-game name of Gelbin is High Tinker Mekkatorque, so for the sake of NPC links and such, it should stay here and other links can redirect to it. --Gengar orange 22x22 Fandyllic (talk · contr) 11:28 AM PST 21 Feb 2008

N'Nanz's move followed WW:NAME. Kirkburn  talk  contr 20:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, full lore names, take precedence to ingame names, according to naming policy.Baggins 20:42, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

What level? Edit

For me it says lvl ??, but is it possible to find out? AristonJ (talk) 00:59, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

He's a Boss. Boss NPCs always display as level ??, and are always treated as your level +3 for level-based calculations. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 01:56, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
