New Flight Path

With the most recent patch, a new Kalimdor flight path was added for Alliance players. Now there is a flight path to Forest Song in eastern Ashenvale. I can easily update the page with flight costs and destinations accessible from Forest Song, but how does one determine the time each flight takes? (Hoping for an answer aside from using a stopwatch!) - Aiwendil 17:32, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

I use Dhask's FlightMap addon -- it handles timing of flights automatically. That's how I'm gathering the information for the updates I'm doing. -- Jorlan 14:39, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Shared Routes

Might it be useful to split the shared flight routes (e.g. Gadgetzan <-> Marshal's Refuge) into their own section, or are there so few that it wouldn't be worth the trouble? -- Jorlan 18:36, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

I think it's better this way, personally. Alliance players can use the Alliance list as a reference, Horde players can use the Horde list as a reference. A list of shared flight points would make people have to look at two lists (two lists which, for Alliance, would be at opposite ends of the page). - Dark T Zeratul 19:04, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Unless someone calls a vote to switch the order of the lists. *lol* Seriously, though, I hadn't thought of that earlier, but it's a good point. Thanks for the response. -- Jorlan 05:31, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

New Felwood flight point

I just stumbled across a flight point at the Emerald Sanctuary in Felwood. It's directly north of where Grazle stands. The Emerald Sanctuary has a combined Tauren and Night Elf presence (an operation of the Cenarion Circle, perhaps?), so this may well be shared by both Horde and Alliance. I don't have any Alliance characters high enough for Felwood, so could someone else on Alliance please verify? -- Jorlan 02:13, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
