I'm curious why you changed the table back to a simple item box? I would think that the table which provides more information is better.DLanyon (talk) 12:39, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

I have been using {{itembox}} for a lot of vendor pages, so I prefer to use them also in case of Pilgrim's Bounty Vendors. Hans Kamp (talk) 12:44, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
I believe the general rule of thumb is the table are used for larger lists and such -- thinks like Heirloom vendors and such, people who sell more. The itemboxes are proffered for smalled units of material.TeeSon5 (talk) 12:54, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm, I'll keep that in mind. I was going for a consistent appearance between vendors, hence the table. But now my original table has been shortened too. There are a lot of vendors in game, it would be nice if they all maintained a consistent format/ layout.DLanyon (talk) 13:54, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
I am actually also into consistent tables. The coming days I want to find a solution about this. Until now I want to use {{itembox}} for short vendor lists. Hans Kamp (talk) 13:56, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good. I haven't gone back and changed any of the items you placed as {itembox} since there is such a wide variation in vendor item lists. I will move this topic over to the community forum and see if we can get some input and come to a community consensus on format of vendor lists.DLanyon (talk) 14:17, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

In the years WoWWiki has been displaying items vendored by NPCs there has been many changes, new templates, new users. Nothing will be consist throughout the wiki. It is something you must get used to. User:Coobra/Sig4 04:28, November 27, 2009 (UTC)
