Path by Quel'Lithien Lodge[]

Could someone describe what the path northwards by Quel'Lithien Lodge looks like? I've always been curious, as I'm fairly sure it's going to open into one of the new Blood Elf zones come expansion time. Vespers 22:14, 12 April 2006 (EDT)

That path will indeed lead to the new Blood Elves zone of Quel'Thalas --Pandaut 22:20, 12 April 2006 (EDT)

Added an easter egg section talking about that path and the NPC standing there. --Arador 12:54, 11 July 2006 (EDT)

Annals of Darrowshire[]

Annals of Darrowshire must be completed before either Villains of Darrowshire or Heroes of Darrowshire can be obtained. This implies that Marauders of Darrowshire follows directly from Heroes and the asterik note is redundant. However, I don't know if Villains is also a prereq, as I have not yet done either Villains or Heroes. --Alces 00:44, 21 September 2006 (EDT)

Scars?[]

Does anyone know why there are giant "scars" across this region? Are they the result of war? Were they trenches? Surely there's some explanation? Jaardon 17:08, 3 January 2007 (EST)

One was made by a death knight's sword.--SWM2448 20:11, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

an odd note...[]

Trees can be zombified they turn into mushrooms... just look at Plaguewood.Scorpx2 00:09, 30 May 2007 (UTC)scorpx2

They may have always been fungus. The only things that survived in the region mutated?--SWM2448 20:11, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Actually, if you look at some of the other trees, you'll see them mutating into fungi-like material. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eman91 (talk · contr). 01:43, 2008-02-10

Problem reports list - #22461[]

Ruins of the Scarlet Enclave is not listed nor are directions to it included. I would like it to be known that the ruins can be found by entering Tyr's hand and following the road to the left in Tyr's hand. Warcrafter82 (talk · contr)

Please refer to the new final paragraph at Eastern_Plaguelands#Wrath_of_the_Lich_King and see if this sufficiently fixes the problem; it took me a while to figure this out while working on the exploration acheivement for EP, too, but I wasn't aware of the Tyr's Hand entrance to RotSE. Markneill (talk · contr)
There's also a tunnel from the Noxious Glade. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 00:50, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
That's noted in my edit. Unless there's a third entrance, I got em covered :)

Major Changes[]

Can anyone explain why the Eastern Plaguelands, like nearly the entire of the sub-continent of Lordaeron is covered in Pine Forest, but in the Old Stratholm instance the region arround Stratholm is shown to be covered in deciduous forest which is nearly a carbon copy of the environment found in Elwynn, far to the south? Was this small area around Strat simply of a different environmental type, and all trace of it has been replaced by the Plaguewood, or has some fundamental change taken place which has completely altered the ecology of the north in the last 5 years. I have to say it startled me. Until this can be answered, i shall add a bit to the article noting this change. gadget (talk) 05:10, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

What Eastern Plaguleands use to be called?[]

What did the Eastern Plaguelands use to be called before it became plagued? To me its a mystery. ~ User: Hallowseve15

It was a part of Lordaeron... I do not know if it could be called a 'zone' before that.--SWM2448 22:31, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

I wonder what will happen to the ruins of the Scarlet Enclave[]

I've been wondering who will claim the ruins of the Scarlet Enclave in Cataclyms. Rimor Conscientia (talk) 19:14, July 11, 2010 (UTC)

The hidden lake[]

West of the Plaugewood there is a hidden lake.

Easternplaguelandshiddenlake

Players who take the flight from Quel'Thalas to somewhere in the Western Plaugelands or The Undercity can see this lake, but it is inaccessible to them unless they have a flying mount, much like the Mulgore cave and Northshire River. And yes you can fish in it. FenneKindleFire (talk) 04:58, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
