Is this organization mentioned in Rise of the Lich King? Edit
I have a doubt, is this organization mentioned in the novel Arthas: Rise of the Lich King? If it is, is it the name of the complete organization or just a faction of it? Because in WC3 it was just a faction of the entire rebels. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 19:56, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Depends on your definition of the organization being mentioned. Were Detheroc, Balnazzar, and Varimathras in there? Yes, they were. That whole bit is covered. Were the Dreadlord Insurgents mentioned by name? No, and I doubt they ever will be. This is one of those groups where the faction name existed solely in the team name section of the Warcraft 3 victory/defeat screen, and chances are it was never meant to be an official title and/or organization. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:29, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- The problem is that this article covers as if the Dreadlord Insurgents were the complete organization. While in Wacraft III they were just one of the many factions (the others being Varimathras' Forces, Balnazzar Forces, Dreadlord Loyalists, ect). So if the organization isn't mentioned by that name in Arthas: Rise of the Lich King I propose to delete most of this article and just kept what we see in WC3. Not to mention, most of the teams that are like this in Warcraft 3 aren't so much organizations as they are bands of people fighting for the same thing with a name stuck on 'em.
