Hummm, how the heck could Antinate take a picture of long-ago dead person ? oO--Kirochi 18:11, 24 May 2006 (EDT)

I've recently got hold of the World of Warcraft Bestiary, and in there is a picture of Draka. Hmmm... Xavius, the Satyr Lord 16:57, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
For more information, she's in the lower left corner of page 88, right between Dragonmaw Orcs and Drakan (the wolf). She is a female orc with long, black hair wielding two axes of the same kind. She is listed as level 70. Xavius, the Satyr Lord 20:40, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Well then I assume it would be grand of you to share this piece of art with the wiki!--K ) (talk) 20:46, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Done.--SWM2448 21:07, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Um, what a strange one. So this picture actually comes from the bestiary? Taken in WoW, with no axes and on this background? Oo Could you take a broader shot please?--K ) (talk) 21:41, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I uploaded the one Antinate found, so ask him if you wish. I do not have the book.--SWM2448 21:47, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I knew I had seen this pic before. My question above (on May 24th 2006) exactly expressed doubt about the origin of Antinate's picture. I don't believe this one to be a true excerpt from the bestiary. Xavius, would you enlighten us?--K ) (talk) 21:53, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
The current picture is not the Bestiary picture. I will take a photo of the Bestiary picture and upload it. Xavius, the Satyr Lord 11:33, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Just saw it today. Nice work whoever noticed this. The book also had Snowsong listed. She is indeed the wolf Thrall rides in on in Nagrand.Warthok Talk Contribs 00:04, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
There it is. Xavius, the Satyr Lord 13:38, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Nice =)--K ) (talk) 16:23, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

And now for the speculations: what is her role in the game? Anything to do with why they changed the names of the two wolves? She is listed as level 70, and her lack of abilities suggests her to be a friendly NPC. Hmmm... Xavius, the Satyr Lord 20:06, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Umm, maybe a Caverns of time retrospective?--K ) (talk) 21:17, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Uploaded a better shot.

Some more info from the beastiary:

  • Level: 70
  • Damage: 125 - 165
  • Health: 4050
  • Armor: 6792
  • Dual Wield: Allows one-hand and off-hand weapons to be equipped in the off-hand.

Now this info is probably just something that Bradygames put in to have it in the beastiary, because a CoT instance is probably not something that will be put in soon (there's only space for one more there).--User:Gourra/Sig2 14:57, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Now that's much better. Thanks a lot!--K ) (talk) 15:30, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
How did you get the picture so... clean? Xavius, the Satyr Lord (talk) 19:44, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I read "A Warrior Made" and I really enjoyed it.  The story reminded me of a woman I first learned of in a bodybuilding magazine in the spring of 1993.  This woman was afflicted with severe rheumatism from an early age, and when she was in her late thirties, she discovered that weight training could ease her pain. She signed up with a gym and began exercising, developing muscles that she said in the article she wrote that she never knew she had.  Eventually, she did develop a strapping physique and even collaborated later on with another woman on a book of fat-free recipes.  That's more than I could say for myself at that time - I was a 95 pound walking skeleton, and my aide, Andrew was about to leave me to go to Niagra Falls and take a course there.  He was to have gone in April, but the person who taught his course fell ill, and his departure was delayed until May.Glammazon (talk) 13:33, August 9, 2017 (UTC)
