Name change[]

Can someone get a citation for the reason for the change of name? A number of other fantasies are able to use "cockatrice" without any problem. --Ragestorm 22:04, 12 December 2006 (EST)

Sometimes makes me wish WoW was a game restricted to mature people :) -- Kirkburn (talk) 16:50, 25 December 2006 (EST)

Personally I think the reason they changed the name is more likely due to that mentioned lore that mentioned grounded hawkstriders as being used as ground mounts as far back as "Lands of Conflict"(trying to confirm that though, and cite it). So instead of creating something out of nowhere maybe they just refrenced that information. I do know that the book has a picture a what may have inspired the ground-mount hawkstrider. Although it looks more like the dodo in Alice in Wonderland.Baggins 17:08, 25 December 2006 (EST)

Fortunately?[]

Fortunately the BE mount is a bigger version of this? 1. This has nothing to do with anything 2. This isn't fortunate, it's more of a neutral thing Saimdusan 21:15, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

It's a humourous aside! Jeez, what's happened to everyone's sense of humour recently :( User:Kirkburn/Sig2 01:44, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
