Where does the Ex paladin information come from?
If it is because she is in the Scarlet Crusade what about the Scarlet Paladin mob in Hearthglen?
- I agree with what you are getting at. As it is her class has never been specifically given. While its true that many if most Scarlet Crusade paladins ultimately become ex-paladins. Others may become dark paladins (whatever that means exactly). Many are just regular paladins before they become ex or dark... So basically if Abbendis exact class has never been given, we can only presume what class she has or had.Baggins (talk) 03:52, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
I understand, I just got the impression that with so many other important Scarlets being a Paladin, and her mention as a member of the Silver Hand before the Third War she would still be a Paladin, and I'm sorry for getting the sign wrong, it was an accident. --LangstonTheCoward (talk) 05:52, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, if she was a paladin before the third war according to lore. Then that would mean she could, either be a paladin (on the way to corruption), a dark paladin or an ex-paladin.
Considering how she believes she is still accessing powers of the light, that would probably mean she is either a paladin, a dark paladin (a corrupted paladin of some sort), or she has mistaken her source (her powers coming from something other than the light, perhaps something much darker).
If you go by info in Dark Factions it would imply that true paladins (of the uncorrupted variety) in the Scarlet Crusade are fairly rare (if they don't get corrupted they would probably leave the Scarlet Crusade after finding out its darker side).Baggins (talk) 06:53, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
It was me who put up ex-paladin as class. The refence is her diary where she recorder: "The voice whispered: "Come to me." From the very beginning I knew that it was the Holy Light speaking to me in dreams. At last! After all of my years of prayers and good deeds, the cleansing of the blight of the unliving from the face of Azeroth. After all of the failures and resurrections.
It happened again. "Come to me ..." the Light commanded"
I think this points out that the Light speaks to her no longer (clearly the voice isn't the Light) thus if she was a paladin, now without the Light's favor she has become an ex-paladin. --N'Nanz (talk) 10:28, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
