Not a paladin[]

Just because Baine can wield a weapon imbued with the Light doesn't mean Baine is a paladin. That's like saying Broxigar was a druid because he used an axe made for him by Cenarius. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:51, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

But it doesn't mean that he isn't a paladin either. Is there any further proof that he isn't? Alpha Sigma Sigma (talk) 18:16, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
The thing is we are usually told that a character is a specific class so unless Baine uses paladin attacks when attacked by an Alliance Raid, then Baine is not a paladin. --Sairez (talk) 18:39, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, but we don't put things in articles just because there's no proof that it isn't otherwise. There's no proof that Baine isn't secretly working for the Burning legion, either, but it's not going to go in the article because, like the theory that he's a paladin, it has no basis in fact. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:33, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Tauren Chieftain[]

I think this may be Baine's class he had chieftain abilities in WC3 and in WoW shares most abilities with Cairne --FunOnABun 6:30, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Intro quote[]

All other Horde leaders have introductory quotes in their respective pages. Shouldn't Baine have one too? Fearbreaker (talk) 23:12, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

It's not all that important. But I suggest Inv helmet 44Inv helmet 119 High Warlord MoneygruberTheGoblinChieftain of the Gentleman Tribe (talk contribs) 00:59, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
"The world is torn, and our Horde allies have turned down dark paths. We must guide them. Even in the darkest hour, we will bravely hold our heads high, and honor the Earth Mother in all we do."
I second that quote. I would add myself but I figure we the community should agree on it first. --Sairez (talk) 05:39, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
I was also thinking of that one, or "Our people have walked this land for many, many years, and in that time have learned much about the world. Our allies will need to look to us for wisdom and guidance. My father once made a promise to the Horde, to repay a debt we owed them for their service to our race. I, for one, intend to deliver on that promise.", from As Our Fathers Before Us. Fearbreaker (talk) 23:12, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Thats a great quote. I'm torn between the two quotes...--Sairez (talk) 07:11, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Phasing Issue?[]

Out of the new content the first thing I did was the Zandalari unlock scenario and then I did the new war campaign content, which lead to an odd issue with the timeline. My play experience showed me Baine at Talanji's coronation which ends with her as Queen of Zandalar and yet the war campaign content reveals that Talanji is still officially Princess Talanji in Warfang Hold when the Horde leaders gather. I would appreciate if anyone who did the new war campaign first can tell me if Baine is present for Talanji's coronation and if he's not I would like suggestions about how we're supposed to handle that timeline wise. --X59 (talk) 06:16, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Baine is definitely there. I am fairly certain the coronation is supposed to happen first and Talanji having the Princess title is an error. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:54, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
Hm. So how should we handle the bio? Start with his presence in the Zandalari recruitment and then go into the War campaign content?--X59 (talk) 01:54, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Yeah. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:46, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
