While it's usefulness in regular Undead instances like Stratholme cannot be denied, it really shines as an assist during Phase 3 of the [[Nefarian|Nefarian]] fight, in which upwards of 40 undead Constructs spawn and rush the group. It is usually given to the Warriors who run out to intercept the Constructs, as they are apt to have the most Constructs around them, so they get the most benefit out of them for the raid.

Previous to patch 12, rogue detect traps would find safe crates, but now with detect traps passive, it no longer shows anything. Dwarven find treasure also does not show the '''Stratholme Supply Crates''', perhaps because they do not contain anything of monetary value.

This item is a stackable item that when used does 438 to 562 damage to Undead within a 10 yard radius. It is also a great item for your toons who are on a diet, since it apparently only has one calorie. It is used in two quests, Houses of the Holy and the Paladin quest Collection of Goods.

While it's usefulness in regular Undead instances like Stratholme cannot be denied, it really shines as an assist during Phase 3 of the Nefarian fight, in which upwards of 40 undead Constructs spawn and rush the group. It is usually given to the Warriors who run out to intercept the Constructs, as they are apt to have the most Constructs around them, so they get the most benefit out of them for the raid.

It is only obtainable in Stratholme as the name may imply. Boxes labled Stratholme Supply Crates always contain Stratholme Holy Water, where as the boxes labeled Supply Crates are often trapped. A dwarven treasure hunting will help find non-trapped crates, which always contain food as well as a chance of potions and holy water.

Previous to patch 12, rogue detect traps would find safe crates, but now with detect traps passive, it no longer shows anything. Dwarven find treasure also does not show the Stratholme Supply Crates, perhaps because they do not contain anything of monetary value.

I've noticed that (after the patch 2.0.1 was released) rogues can detect trapped boxes by entering stealth, it seems like the ability is only active in stealthmode. When hovering with the mouse over a trap-box youwill see a green text that say "requires disarm trap". Using disarm trap on the box will remove the trap and reveal the real box, however this real box almost always falls apart too. /shacti, mazrigos
