Sseratus, the loa serpent god, can be found dead in the Altar of Sseratus in Zul'Drak [40.2, 38.6]. It seems he was murdered by the Prophet of Sseratus because of the magical effects his blood bestows upon those who drank of it, most noticeably, the Prophet himself. The loa gods in Northrend have been weakened because of the blight upon the land caused by the Scourge. It is presumed that if the Scourge had not come to Northrend, the Drakkari tribe would not have been able to perform this act.
This serpent represents the mending powers that have kept the lives of many drakkari in battle, the calm and gentle moves of the snakes charm and the blood that courses through him is the energy that is believed to assist those chosen within the tribes to mend and empower there own during battle. Although representing the mending energy bought to the tribe, this is one that represents one of the main, and only ways the drakkari use calm techniques to help there own.
