Template:Tooltip Buff INV Enchant EssenceEternalLarge For the one whose spirit is strong enough, even death is not the end.

Overview

Upon death, the priest becomes the Spirit of Redemption for 15 sec. The Spirit of Redemption cannot move, attack, be attacked or targeted by any spells or effects. While in this form the priest can cast any healing spell free of cost. When the effect ends, the priest dies.

Sometimes jokingly referred to as "Improved Death".

This talent requires 20 points in the Holy tree. Upon death you take on the appearance of a Spirit Healer hovering above your crumpled body.

Things to keep in mind when in Spirit of Redemption form:

  • you have 15 seconds - Spell holy flashheal [Flash Heal] is your friend
  • be mindful of range and the universal cooldown
  • try to get in one last Spell holy renew [Renew] before the end of your 15 seconds
  • you will never have enough time to resurrect someone

Description

The spell's description is a reference to Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi tells Darth Vader that "if you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine" - moments before Vader's lightsaber cleaves right through him.
