Template:AlchemyRecipes Flasks are a consumable item similar to Elixirs which enhance particular a player for a period of time upon being consumed. They differ in that the effects do not disapear upon death and they count as both a Battle and Guardian Elixir simultaneously. The effect of a flask is typically stronger than elixirs which are introduced in the same expansion, making them attractive for end-game PvE and PvP content. Though an individual flask may cost more than an elixir, they are often preferred because the effect of elixirs may expire quickly due to death.

There are also several items in the game which are labelled as flasks, such as quest items (ie. Inv potion 37 [Flask of Vrykul Blood]) and reagents for crafting (ie. Inv drink 07 [Flask of Oil]). However, despite the similarity in name, these items are not consumables and serve a different purpose.

Most flasks are producded by Alchemy. Flask production benefits from Elixir Mastery.
