Template:Epic is one of a series of epic rings that are given as faction rewards by the Brood of Nozdormu faction. This inital ring may be switched for another ring of a different "path" by completing a quest. Each ring confers different effects on the wearer depending on its "path", which can be determined by its inscription:

The first Signet Ring is given as a faction reward by Anachronos at the entrance to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. As your reputation with the faction increases, Anachronos will upgrade your ring to a better quality. You must be at least Neutral with the Brood of Nozdormu to receive the first ring, with upgrades for each reputation level up to Exalted.
