Zenru Dreamchaser the bank manager, Shadow of the Moon guild.

Age: 540

General personality and demeanor: Zenru's personality and demeanor shift with his form. Usually he's very calm and focused but some of his feral forms can cause him to take on extreme personalty quirks.

Childhood:

Most of the heroes of Azeroth develop the skills of their particular path (class) through years of training and questing. Zenru however, was different. He didn’t decide to become a Druid he never trained to become one, he was born a Druid. While somewhat rare it’s not completely unheard of for someone to be born with magical abilities. In this particular instance he was born with a natural ability to shape shift into the Druid Cat form, and was doing so proficiently as young as age two. In fact it was rather bothersome to his parents who would often find him meowing for help having managed to climb too far up something and found himself unable to get back down. Druidic tradition has been a part of Zenru’s family for many generations, dating back to his earliest know ancestor Ryo ‘Claw’ Dreamchaser. How Zenru acquired his natural shape shifting ability is a mystery, one that may never be solved.

Druid training:

Due to the nature of his abilities Zenru didn’t study Druidic arts like others. Instead he trained himself by venturing into the various lands of Kalimdor, studying nature first hand. He spent much of his life (the years between his childhood and the Battle of Mount Hyjal) exploring world trying to learn as much as he could. Eventually the time came where he should have taken his place in the Emerald Dream however he refused. He had little in common with his fellow Druid do to his natural abilities and self training. Frankly he thought his time would be better invested into exploration and learning. His refusal would have gone against the pact made with three Dragon Aspects Ysera,Alexstrasza, and Nozdormu however since he was never trained by any of the Druids of the Cenarion Circle he technically was not a Druid and as such was exempt from the bargain (at least in his own mind).

Battle of Mount Hyjal:

Zenru returned home shortly before Archimonde’s assault. He did his best to aid the Night elf’s defense. During the battle Zenru and his parents became separated from the rest of the army. They found themselves backed in to a corner by Scourge forces. In a desperate bid to save their son his parents devised a plan to get him to safety. His father used his Druidic abilities to rapidly grow a primitive hang glider from a tree. Once Zenru was gliding to safety his mother used her last explosive arrow to kill herself, and Zen’s father just before the Scourge reached them.
