As of late, the server has been suffering from the recent faction change service and several good PvE guilds have either left the server or disbanded, including guilds such as CoX, Kid Galahad, Tribal, Calamitous Intent, Simplicity, Theorycraft, Exordium, Asylum and many others, there is a distinct imbalance in the Horde favour (rougly around 70H:30A) and the server is suffering from emptiness and a relatively poor economy. Guilds have also been transferring to the server to take the realm firsts which are still untaken and are leaving the server after they have achieved the realm first. Even with recent free character migrations, people hardly move to Shattered Halls from their old servers, which is not improving balance. |

General info
This server was launched at the release date of TBC, and just as the other realms, it is suffering of a imbalance between Horde and Alliance (60H:40A~) and emptyness. However, from the new realms, this one is in the best condition with its economy, population and PvE progression. The guild Simplicity was the guild progressing extremely fast in TBC (from Attumen in Karazhan to Magheridon on farm & attempts on Hydross in a month). Simplicity also contained some of the legendary members of World of Warcraft, one of them being "Cokamine" who was one of the best WoW players to ever exist and is down in the books of history.
Patch 3.2 Progression
All the raiding content pre-3.2 was pretty much dominated by two, maybe three major guilds, including HardMode, Reunion and Calamitous Intent. Patch 3.2 brought differentiation in the raiding progress due to few new guilds popping up in the Shattered Halls raiding scene. Even though Anub'Arak 25 Heroic still hasn't been downed yet, Shattered Halls has 6 Horde guilds working on it, with 9 guilds total that entered Trial of the Grand Crusader 25-man. Multiple guilds finished 10-man raiding content with A Tribute To Skill (10 player) achievements or better, with HardMode being the only guild with A Tribute To Dedicated Insanity (10 player)
