Emerald Dream (RP-PvP)

Emerald Dream is a RP-PvP server (realm) situated in Central Timezone, US. Originally released in September of 2005. Many guilds raced to the top, but the two guilds which began to emerge from the pack were Brimstone(H) and Vindictive(A). However, after a few months of being sabotaged by Vindictive on world bosses, Brimstone left the server, re-rolling to the new server Zuluhed. Since then, Vindictive has disbanded.

Originally, the guilds Brimstone and Vindictive dominated Emerald Dream's PVE scene. High Impact(Alliance), a heavy PVP guild, mainly took control of the BGs. As of now, Fallout leads the Alliance PVE, while Disorder leads the Horde as well as an alliance of guilds called Shattered Moon (made up of Shattered Oath and Blackmoon Tribe). The Alliance has many more raiding guilds currently, most likely because of a population imbalance. The more advanced guilds include, but are not limited to Disorder, Absolute, The Caliphate, Hallowed, Revenant, Renascor, and The Resurgence.

• Black Fang Brotherhood(RP++,PvE++,PvP++)

• Blackmoon Tribe (RP++, PvE++, PvP++) The Blackmoon Tribe is a troll-centric guild, which holds as its ultimate goal the return of the Jungle Trolls homeland. The guild is made up of Trolls, Orcs, and Tauren. They try to balance the three elements of RP, PvE, and PvP. One of their stated goals is to bring back more world PvP - this is done as an announced raid on a contested zone in which any and all alliance encountered will be killed.

• Eternum (RP+, PVP+, PvE+++) Formed in late September from mostly former members of Kindred Spirits. Currently in a raiding alliance with Disorder.

• Kindred Spirits (RP+, PvE+++, PvP+) Disbanded in late September 2006 due to disagreements about raiding frequency and loot distribution.

• Misçhief (RP++, PvE+++, PvP++)

• Noble Tribe of Kalimdor (RP++, PvE++, PvP++) NToK is a highly organized guild of mature players who are engaged in all aspects of the game and it's realm including PvE, PvP, and RP. NToK offers it's members and partners regular raiding opportunities and promotes friendly cooperation in a drama-free environment.

• Nyx (RP++, PvE++, PvP++) Nyx was originally founded as a guild for Off-peak and Oceanic adventurers, but has grown to also accommodate adventurers at peak time. Nyx tries to retain a balance between RP, PvE and PvP, providing casual raiding opportunities and PvP-RP events for it's members.

• Pack Spirit (RP++, PvE++, PvP++) Shaman, Hunters, and Druids

• The Shadowmoon Clan (RP++, PvE++, PvP++) A friendly RP guild with mature players with both end game content and organized PvP (including World) in mind. Many members have migrated from RP servers to start fresh in a RP-PvP environment and have experience in MC, BWL and other high level instances. They are currently expanding their ranks and starting end game content (i.e. ZG). (Ventrilo, Web, RP events, membership-open/recruiting)

• The Dark Council (RP+++, PvE+, PvP++) The Dark Council is well known for their quite out of hand OOC Channel, and also the fact that they have possibly the server's best Shadow Priest, Zajiwa.

• The Free Souls (RP+, PvE++, PvP++) The Free Souls (TFS) is a guild dedicated to enjoying all aspects of the game. TFS has a casual raiding environment and they try to host monthly events that all guild members can enjoy. There is no age limit to join, but they expect you to be mature and respect others. TFS also others web forums and a hosted Vent server.

• The Royal Assassins (RP+++, PvP+++)

• The Warsong Clan (RP+++, PvE++, PvP++) RP guild with a close knit core of mature players looking to expand. Currently working with the Noble Tribe of Kalimdor on clearing Molten Core and Zul'Gurrub.

Alliance

• Absolute RP*, PvE+++, PvP++: One of the oldest guilds on Emerald Dream and have advanced as far as three bosses into Naxxramas. Despite many setbacks, Absolute remains one of the most influencial and powerful guilds on the server.

• Absolutely Not RP*, PvE++, PvP++: Founded by the members who broke off from Absolute, Absolutely Not is a guild focused on smaller raids (including AQ20 and ZG) until World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade comes out. They are currently a rather small group of people, but are expanding and progressing rapidly.

• Argent Avengers PvE+++: Argent Avengers initially started from Gurubashi PVP server and a small group of core guild members decided to reroll on an RP/PVP server, Emerald Dream. The guild is a close-knit group of gamers that date all the way back to Starcraft Broodwars and have recruited members along the way to join their ranks. Argent Avengers has completed ZG, AQ20, MC and are currently in the middle of BWL. They are a quiet guild on Emerald Dream and have progressed solidly over the year.

• Ashes of the Phoenix PvE+++, PvP++, RP+: Ashes of the Phoenix is a guild formed by former members of HOoD. The guild is rapidly growing, and has had a great deal of success in Molten Core. The Ashes can also be found in battlegrounds as well as engaging in world PVP. The current guild leader, Lacroix, along with Diliam, Ninetoes, Aldor, Shakes, Adeia and several other officers are currently leading the guild into BWL and focusing on preparations for Burning Crusade.

• Corruption PvP+++, Corruption, a 60's bracket PVP guild , has recently been accused of sporting controversial elements within.

• Crimson Alliance RP++, PvE+++, PvP+, Crimson Alliance is one of the oldest RP guilds on the server. Having progressed through Molten Core, they suffered a split (from which the Resurgence was born) but have been able to recover and take down Ragnaros once again.

• Dawn of Trinity RP+, PvE+++, PvP++, Dawn of Trinity is a PvE focused, PvP participating, non-participating but supportive of RP guild. Currently in battle with Ragnaros and Osserian.

• Fallout PvE+++, PvP++, RP* Fallout was the current leading PVE guild on Emerald Dream, clearing Naxx up to Kel'Thuzad, but have since disbanded.

• GnomeTech RP+++, PvE+, PvP+, Led by the enigmatic Zappie, GnomeTech has become known to both sides for their ever delightful RP events and their trademark death-rays.

• Hallowed RP*, PvE+++, PvP+, One of the quietest guilds on the server, little is known about them, besides the fact that they are dedicated and are willing to stay up late to meet their goals. They are currently one of the farthest-progressed guilds on the server.

• House Blackstone RP+++, House Blackstone is an hardcore RP guild who are dedicated to the continuation of the strong RP community found on Emerald Dream. They would best be described as the Nazi faction of Emerald Dream. If you slip out of roleplay while in this guild, don't be surprised if you end up as a lampshade in the Scarlet Monastery library.

• Hundred Handed RP+, PvE++, PvP++, Hundred Handed was disbanded into Nova, which also disbanded. This guild no longer exists on Emerald Dream.

• Knights of the Old Code RP+++, PvE+, PvP++, Knights of the Old Code was founded by Krayden, now led by General Mathius Owenhast. Dedicated to upholding the Code, which outlines the virtues and integrities that a knight should live by.

• Malicious Intent RP++, PvE+++, PvP++, The officers of Malicious Intent and most of our founding members are hard working former members of many other quality guilds. We have been around for a long time as players, and have experienced a good portion of end-game content, including the entirety of Blackwing Lair, some AQ40 and others before the Burning Crusade expansion. All of our officers have reserves of experience to draw upon and we understand the nature of the beast that is end-game raiding. Starting from the ground up, with the talented individuals we have, we are very excited about our future. • Obsidian RP++, PvE++, PvP++, Obsidian is a guild of mature players that are bound together by shared friendships, attitudes, and ideals. Not previously noted for endgame experience, they have recently made forays into ZG, AQ20 and MC. Most of its member base is composed of former members of larger guilds/raiding guilds who enjoy endgame without all the drama.

• Renascor RP++, PvE+++, PvP++, Renascor, led by the Lady Illya, is one of the oldest remaining end-game guilds. They are best known for their incredible website and unique raiding terms (like 'peanut'). With their focus on a strong community alongside progression through endgame content, they withstand the battering winds of any storm, and remain strong as other guilds crumble to drama.

• Revenant RP*, PvE+++, PvP+, Revenant was the remnant of the old High Impact/Nightfall guilds, led by Moirenn. They have disbanded.

• The Caliphate RP++, PvE+++, PvP+++, The Caliphate is one of the mainstays of Emerald Dream. Centered around an Islamic theme, they revere their guild master and Caliph, Suleiman. The Caliphate is also known for their lack of drama, and progression both PVE and PVP wise.

• The Fashionistas (RP+, PvE+++, PvP++) The Fashionistas are unique in their guild goals. The Fasionistas scour the realm for the best and most ostentatious cloth and decor the realm has to offer. The guild is known for their battle dazzle: Stunning the horde with their great looks. They are also known for their grandiose fishing talents and tournaments.

• The Resurgence RP++, PvE+++, PvP+, The Resurgence was founded by the members of Crimson Alliance who felt that CA was not advancing fast enough for them. Troubled by attendence issues, they merged with Suzerain and with this infusion of members, they were able to finish BWL. Led by Nywro, the Resurgence is currently making strides in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.

• The Shan're lo dor Talah RP+++, PVE ++ PvP++ The Shan're lo dor Talah, or Council of Stars in the common tongue of humans, is an organization that is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the Kaldorei way of life. It is an all Kaldorei (Nightelf), defensive-minded guild that defends the Ancient Kaldorei ancestoral lands when trouble comes calling. So Durithor! Be Vigilant...
