Dalvengyr US (Player vs Player) Template:Dalvengyr US/Nav Template:Mal'Ganis US/section Dalvengyr was launched on April 10th, 2006 as an overflow server to ease the load of three larger servers; Alleria, Hellscream and Whisperwind. Several larger servers transfered from their home servers to Dalvengyr which imbalanced the economy that has never entirely corrected itself, keeping the server poor. Dalvengyr is heavily horde oriented, with an over 2:1 ratio, even though the total population is still low. Dalvengyr is a Eastern Time zone PvP server for Blizzard's MMORPG, World of Warcraft. Blizzard opened this server to transfers on April 10th, 2006 from three high population PvE servers: Alleria, Hellscream and Whisperwind.

The server's name comes from the dreadlord Dalvengyr, a minor character from Warcraft III: Frozen Throne.

Birth of a Server

Five months after its inception, Dalvengyr continues to be a relatively low population server. However, several major guilds from the various servers have transfered.
