Seduction is an ability of the warlock's succubus, allowing her to mesmerize a target and render them unable to attack, cast, move, or use any other abilities. Any damage caused to the target will remove the effect. It is learned at level 26.
If set to auto-cast, the succubus will automatically use this on any target that uses stun, silence, or fear on the warlock. This gives the warlock the upper hand, for those effects typically do not last as long as thirty seconds, giving the warlock time to either escape, heal, or prepare a large damage attack.

- "Improves your demon's special abilities:
Your Imp's Firebolt (Fel Imp's Felbolt) cast time is reduced by 50% and fires in bursts of three.
Increases your Voidwalker's (Voidlord's) total armor by 10%.
Your Succubus's Seduction (Shivarra's Mesmerize) ability also removes all damage over time effects from the target.
When your Felhunter uses Devour Magic (Observer uses Clone Magic), you will also be healed.
Increases your Felguard's (Wrathguard's) total health by 20%."
Seduction is channeled, so the succubus can't perform any other action while seducing and can be interrupted. This ability only works on humanoids, lasting thirty seconds barring diminishing returns or damage. Any damage inflicted on the target will break Seduction instantly.
Seduction on other players is controlled by the Diminishing Returns Rule, which means that you cannot seduce a player an unlimited number of times. Not only that, but Seduction and Fear are on the same Diminishing Returns Rule, preventing alternating use for long amounts of time.
- Patch 1.7.0 (13-Sep-2005): Succubus pets will be smarter about when to use Seduction.
- Patch 1.4.0 (2005-05-05): Is now considered a Fear effect for purposes of diminishing returns.
