The Runeblade of Baron Rivendare is a two-handed sword with a passive boost to the wielder's movement speed and life regeneration rate. It is a well suited weapon for mainly Warriors and Paladins.

Background
This powerful bastard sword is Baron Rivendare's most prized possession, next to his undead steed, the Deathcharger. The finely-crafted blade bears a false hilt and is etched with necromantic runes all down the blade. The blade pulses with cold power, seeming all too ready to draw blood from enemies. In anyone else's hands, the blade is a simply a bastard sword. In the Baron's hands, however, the weapon becomes a keen frost/unholy bastard sword. The sword also allows any wielder to cast Bloodlust on themselves.MG

Source
The Runeblade drops from Baron Rivendare in Stratholme at an approximative 0.10% rate.

Notes
*The health regneration is 20hp per 5 secs, and the movement speed bonus is +8%. Other movement speed increasing effects do not stack.

*This is a reference to the Unholy Aura skill of the Death Knight in Warcraft III.

*Another runeblade is Arthas' legendary Frostmourne. So we guess one of the prerequisites to become a Death Knight is to own a runeblade. This is confirmed by a Warcraft RPG book : a death knight was given a runeblade by the Lich King himself. Should the death knight be destroyed, the sword would be ready to corrupt its next owner.

This corruption is, obviously, just part of the background and has no effect in the game.
