Windsong
Windsong is a night elf faction sworn to protect the interests of the kaldorei nation and preserve ancient artifacts of Azeroth. Formed by a trio of friends and gradually joined by select others from the Alliance, the Cenarion Circle and Sisters of Elune realized their success and began to support and guide its activities. Since that time, the Windsong have become officially sanctioned by the Sisterhood, undertaking increasingly dangerous quests near and far from the kaldorei homelands.
Within the faction are two denominational ranks. One consists of scholars, archaeologists, historians and teachers known among the Windsong as Seekers. The other consists of the soldiers, warriors, scouts and battle mages that defend and protect on missions, known as the Honor Guard. Both distinctive ranks hold equal standing and grant the same privileges. Their differences lay only in the paths of those that wear it's mark.
Newcomers to the Windsong faction spend their time earning a reputation by completing missions, quests and defeating enemies in the name of Windsong. Once they have achieved the highest honor available, a grand ceremony is held in their honor where they are recognized for their efforts. It is at this celebration that they name their chosen path as a Seeker or an Honor Guard.
Seekers and Honor Guards are masters at their crafts. Through their relentless dedication they've earned the highest reputation within the Windsong, and hold the confidence of its leadership. Their armor is distinct, allowing them to stand out among their brethren at ceremonies and meetings, and can often be seen flying on elegant Hippogryphs into Alliance cities to recruit new members.
