Objective

High Priest Orglum wants you to journey into the Tomb of Lights and use the Dreanei Tomb Relic near the Ancient Draenei Alter.

Defend the Tomb Guardian and and defeat the Vengeful Draenei Spirit. When the ritual is complete, speak with the Draenei Ascendant at the Ancient Draenei Altar.

Quest Text

The Tomb of Lights has become corrupted by the Shadow Council and the Draenei dead have become cursed spirits, angry and confused with a burning hatred for the living.

Before I left Shattrath I was given a Draenei Tomb Relic. It can be used near the Ancient Draenei Altar deep within the Tomb of Lights to summon a Tomb Guardian. This creature will activate the alter and will being to purge the tomb of corrupt spirits, freeing them to ascend. Protect the Tomb Guardian until the ritual is complete.

Notes

Before patch 2.0.10, it used to be possible to activate the Ancient Draenei Arcane Relic at the same time as your other trinket. For instance, an orc warlock could activate the Ancient Draenei Arcane Relic, the  [Ancient Crystal Talisman], and the racial ability [Blood Fury] simultaneously for a total boost of +367 spell power. The Ancient Draenei Arcane Relic appears to have been the only trinket to exhibit this unusual stacking behavior.

• Quest was bugged such that the Ancient Draenei Altar would not respawn, but has been fixed with Patch 2.0.7.^{[citation needed]}
