The fact that the flayed demon skin was carried by a member of the Burning Blade and that it is a contract implies that there must be some sort of an accord between Lord Azrethoc and the Burning Blade. Determined to expunge Lord Azrethoc's taint from the face of Azeroth, Maurin Bonesplitter needed the adventurers help in obtaining the scalp of a Hatefury satyr, which she sought to use to remove any impediments in the process of scrying for Lord Azrethoc's hideout.
