Notes
- This spell is primarily used as a "double flash heal". If both you and your target need healing immediately, it is a perfect fit for the situation.
- It costs the same as a flash heal, but has less throughput per target, and is not complete flash heal replacement as a result. Also, a few talents only procs off flash heal.
- Due to its high casting cost, this spell is not generally spammable.
- This spell causes half the threat per point of healing of other healing spells.
- Keep in mind that overhealing does not generate threat, so if your tank has some major threat generation issues, healing him with Binding Heal is a viable way to reduce threat generation. This comes at the cost of spending extra mana.
Patch changes
- Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Now provides roughly double the amount of healing.
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Costs the same as [Flash Heal], now learned at level 48
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Now affects serendipity
- Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): Cost reduced by 32%, tooltip clarified that this is a low threat spell
