Purify is a very useful Paladin ability early on, since it can cure both diseases and poisons quickly.
Tips & tricks
At higher levels, this spell is upgraded to [Cleanse]. There is no reason to use this spell after gaining Cleanse, as they have the same mana cost, except in one special case. If you or someone else is afflicted by [Unstable Affliction] from a warlock, Purify can be used to safely remove any poisons or diseases without risking the dispelling of Unstable Affliction.
Past changes
In Patch 2.3, the range of this spell was increase to 40 yards from 30 yards.
