Piercing Ice is a Mage talent that increases the mage's frost damage.
Functionality
Piercing Ice increases the damage done by frost spells and effects by 2% per rank, up to 6% at rank 3. This damage bonus also applies to any spell damage bonus from gear or buffs. Fire and arcane spells are not affected.
Use
Piercing ice is a passive ability once talented, and does not need to be explicitly cast by the mage.
