Photonic Playground[44, 49] is an art gallery in Dalaran. A Pilgrim Shrine from the alternate Draenor can be found upstairs.
There are several paintings of note here, including:
- A painting of a female gnome in a sitting position—a reference to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa;
- A painting of a pot of sunflowers (with a single Singing Sunflower in the bunch)—a reference to Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers;
- A pair of paintings portraying the orc and human from the box art for Warcraft: Orcs & Humans;
- And a painting of Kur'talos Ravencrest wielding [Ravencrest's Legacy] leaning in the corner of the store.
Several paintings seem to move or come alive. The female gnome can move her eyes, disappear entirely, fall asleep, or get red evil eyes with a dark grin.
Trivia[]
- It's a reference to the real life Photonic Playground art gallery, founded by Blizzard employees David Luong and Steven Dowling Jr.
