This item is an extremely rare fish that can be caught in the city limits of Orgrimmar. The waters in the Valley of Honor and the Valley of Spirits have both been cited as sources for obtaining this elusive trophy.
Your best chance at getting this fish, while the off-hand stat bonus is still useful, is to train up your fishing skill in Orgrimmar. Use a [Shiny Bauble] lure at first. Orgrimmar requires a fishing skill (with fishing lure) of 75 to ensure that none of the fish get away, and has a skill limit up to skill 75. Alliance version
The Alliance version of this fish is [Old Ironjaw] which can be caught within the city of Ironforge. These two fish are the only off hand trophy fish that give a stat bonus, both give +5 to Stamina.
Achievement
Patch 3.0.2 added Achievements including Professions achievements. In the Fishing section of the Professions achievements are two achievements, "Old Crafty" and "Old Ironjaw".
This fits well with the Fishing achievement The Fishing Diplomat which requires you to "Fish something up in Orgrimmar and Stormwind".
