Mechanical Repair Kit as a quest objective
This item is an objective of [60] Mechanical Repair Kits, a Darkmoon Faire quest that rewards you with Darkmoon Faire Tickets.
Notes
A Mechanical Repair Kit has only one charge. You can use it once, and then it's gone. If you intend to repair a lot, bring multiple kits. They stack in lots of five.
While there exist some mechanical targets you might wish to repair, there are not many. Note that of the ones below, the Battle Chicken lasts the longest (90 seconds).
Examples:
- Compact Harvest Reaper
- [Mechanical Dragonling]
- [Gnomish Battle Chicken]
- [Target Dummy]
- [Advanced Target Dummy]
- [Masterwork Target Dummy]
If holding a PvP objective is important, like the main keep in Wintergrasp, Mechanical Repair Kits will also heal vehicles and turrets for approximately 2k health. A small team of engineers could theoretically top off turrets in the main keep after unsuccessful assaults. These do not, however, appear to heal walls.
