Changes: Manta

Not alot is known about the Manta. Everything that can be learned about it is in the Warcraft novel, Day of the Dragon. At a certain point of this book, Krasus or Korialstrasz as they call him in his dragon form, needs to talk with the Dragon Aspect Ysera. To do this he takes a small vial of black liquid and then it is said, 3 drops of this liquid on the arrow of a crossbow killed the Manta, a creature 10 times bigger than Deathwing that was thought to be invisible by almost everyone. He called the beast, Behemoth of the Deeps.

It was said that the black liquid was used to kill this beast 100 years ago which is about 90 years before Warcraft I.

Some say the Manta was somehow linked to the Old Gods but chances of that are low since 4 of the 5 Old Gods were banished in the Elemental Plane ( 3 since C'thun is now dead )and the 5th God was slain but not with an arrow...with a sword.
