Lurid is a minion of Thassarian, that he raised from the corpse of a soldier of Unit S.[1] He accompanied his master to The Wailing Ziggurat and later to Naxxanar, where he was destroyed but Thassarian raised him once more.
Cataclysm[]
Lurid is killed during the Battle for Andorhal.[2] His body remains in the final phase of the area. It is unknown why Thassarian left his body there and did not raise him once more, though it is possible he was unable to recover his body in the Alliance's retreat.

Isidorus responds with one of the following:

- Mercy! You were once with us! Do you not remember?

If a hostile mob gets too close, Lurid says one of the following:
- It's about time! Lurid was getting bored.
- You Arthas lapdog? You die!
- This not... end well for you!
