Dornaa, the Draenei Orphan, is a level 1 quest giver located in the Lower City in the neutral Shattrath City. She appears fated to grand things in the future, perhaps as a powerful shaman.
She is available only during Children's Week. To summon the orphan, the adventurer gets a whistle from Orphan Matron Mercy as part of the Children's Week quest chain.
She is involved in the following quests:

Objectives
Use the Draenei Orphan Whistle to call for the ward that you will be looking after during Children's Week.
Provided item:
Description
One special little girl is going to be very happy to have you as a friend, even if it is for a short while.
Take this whistle. With it, you will be able to call for the child that you have agreed to sponsor. It will only last for a limited time - not much longer than Children's Week itself, in fact.
Please, <name>, call upon your orphan. I know that she will be more than excited to meet you and have the opportunity to venture out of the city!
Completion
You must be the adventurer who's going to be my big <brother/sister> for Children's Week! I'm [10-70] Children's Week, pleased to meet you.
<She looks sad for a moment.>
Mother and father were killed in the war, and I've lived in the orphanage all my life. It's nice, actually, but I've always wanted to go places and see things.
I've already made a list of places we could visit, if that's okay? I just know that we're going to have a great time together!
I'm ready to go when you are!

Quotes
If you speak to the orphan, then she will say one of the following statements:
- Why isn't the Outland called Draenor anymore?
- Does a naaru turn off the Light when it wants to sleep?
- How do you drink and eat so much, and not get fat?
- If a horse gets horseshoes, will I get draenei shoes?
- Are we there yet?
- If I held my breath, what color would I turn?
- If the Burning Legion is such a problem, why not just throw water on them? Then they'll just be a Legion.
- Is the Twisting Nether shaped like a pretzel? And just what is a Nether? The orphan matron said I shouldn't ask people about their nethers.
In Wrath of the Lich King, players can fish up an item in Dalaran called [Dornaa's Shiny Copper Coin], with the flavor text "I wish that that jerk Arthas would fall into a pile of magnataur doody!"
After completing the quest chain, she mails a letter to players:
<Name>
Thank you for the time that we spent together during Children's Week. Did you know that Farseer Nobundo has asked the orphan matron to allow me to study with him at the Exodar?
Thank you for taking me to all of those neat places, and to visit my brother, Jheel. I miss him almost as much as I miss you. And the Ring of Observance, the Dark Portal and the Caverns of Time were neato!
I'm sure that you're taking good care of my pet. Tell him that I miss him, too!
Love,
Dornaa

During the quest chain, the guards at the Caverns of Time attack her, only to be stopped by Zaladormu, who says she will not be punished for "things she might do or fail to do in the future". She also says when she gets the [Toy Dragon] "One day I hope that I'm lucky enough to have a dragon as a friend."
Notes
Dornaa is a Persian word meaning Crane and is also a name for girls.
