Sarah Pine is the author of In the Shadow of the Sun, starring Lor'themar Theron, and Heart of War starring Garrosh Hellscream.
Sarah won the first Blizzard creative writing contest with the former, and was presumably asked to pen the latter as part of the Leaders of Azeroth short story series, based around the various faction leaders.
According to the Blizzard website, the official short story for Lor'themar Theron is also Pine's In the Shadow of the Sun.[1]
